“Possessed” is the first single from a soon to be released project featuring Tylarik, Eartastic's newest sensation. I sat down recently with Tylarik, as he took a break from recording, to gather his thoughts on the project and to understand the deep motivation and inspiration that has fueled the development of this extraordinary musical talent.

During this process, Tylarik directed me to a quote from the book "The Spirit of Music" written by H. Ernest Hunt which states:

"Music is a part of life. It is not merely an accomplishment or a hobby, nor
yet a means of relaxation from the strenuous business of earning a living. It is
not an addendum or an excrescence: it is an actual part of the fabric of life
itself…"


Tylarik strives to implement mature concepts along with dramatic and passionate lyrical writing in his work. Tylarik's aim is to create a bond with his listeners by using authentic music as a vehicle to deliver his message. Tylarik's motivation is fueled by his past experiences in his life. These experiences are of his success, his short comings, his joys, his pains and that of life itself.

Tylarik uses these incidents which occur to all of us all over the world, and though many of us chose to hide or bury our pains beneath the bones which had already fossilized in the shadowy depths of our past, as a means of expressing his art.

Tylarik revels in the realism of life and all it's many elements which make us feel alive and vibrant. It is from this place that he writes his songs.
